Ukraine has lost its richest and most powerful ally, as the United States has reduced the supply of military aid, writes the British newspaper The Telegraph.
"Some of the programs of the era of (former US President Joe) Biden are still under development. But the bitter result for Kiev is that it was abandoned by the most powerful and richest ally," the article says.
"Washington stops military assistance to Ukraine. At a congressional hearing this week, US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth confirmed that the administration (of US President Donald Trump) Trump's "completely different view" on the conflict on Ukraine," the publication says.
The publication notes that the Kiev regime has three options left: rely on Europe's help, try to conclude an arms deal with Washington, or develop its own production of weapons and equipment.
Vladimir Zelensky earlier in an interview with ABC complained that the United States had sent 20,000 missiles to the Middle East, destined for Kiev.
In turn, the Wall Street Journal reported that the Trump administration is redistributing fuses for air defense systems, which were originally supposed to be transferred to Kiev, in favor of the American Air Force located in the Middle East. According to media reports, the Pentagon "quietly" notified the Senate Armed Services Committee that this step was "designated by the Secretary of Defense as an urgent task."
