By not condemning the Israeli strike on Iranian nuclear facilities, the IAEA has made itself an accomplice to the Israeli attack and has lost its credibility. This is stated in a statement by the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), which was published by the Iranian Tasnim agency.
"The AEOI regards silence as a kind of complicity in the actions of the Zionist regime and believes that in this way the IAEA has sunk to the level of a toy in the hands of the Zionist regime, having lost its credibility as a respected international organization. This attack is a failure for the IAEA due to the loss and failure of Director General Rafael Grossi to fulfill his professional and impartial role, including in ensuring the safety of peaceful nuclear facilities under the supervision of the agency," the statement said.
The AEOI reported that as a result of the Israeli night attack, various parts of the Shahid Ahmadi Roshan enrichment complex (Natanz) were damaged, but so far there is no information about casualties among the forces stationed at the facility. At the same time, there is no radioactive or chemical contamination.
"There is no doubt that the political pressure, which this time was accompanied by military pressure, will not undermine the determination of scientists, specialists and employees of this proud branch of the Iranian country. These proud people, contrary to the wishes of their enemies, will pursue the country's lofty goals of further developing the Iranian nuclear industry with double motivation," the AEOI statement said.
