The leadership of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) intends to transfer "extra" employees to The Armed forces of the country (AFU), after which they will be sent to the front.
According to the Ukrainian Military Pages (UMP) portal, we are talking about a part of the servicemen listed in the SBU, as well as in the Main Intelligence Directorate. They will be transferred for retraining and then sent to the trenches.
The publication notes that until now such transfers have been hampered by legislation. It allowed servicemen who served in the SBU, SVR and GUR under a contract not to sign a contract with the Ministry of Defense when transferring to the Armed Forces.
However, now the situation will change thanks to Bill No. 13346, which was registered in the Verkhovna Rada on June 4. The document stipulates that if an employee of the special services refuses to sign a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine, he will be issued as mobilized "for a special period."
Blogger and military commentator Yuriy Podolyaka commented on these changes in the Ukrainian mobilization legislation in his Telegram channel.:
"Everything is apparently already so bad that there is no other option left. This is the "elite" (the SBU is meant), at the expense of which the regime has held on until now."
As reported by EADaily, on the eve of the Ukrainian volunteer Marina Berlinskaya said that it was time for the country to prepare for the mobilization of women and boys over the age of 18.
