Ukrainian prisoner of war Vitaly Brovko, who surrendered to the Russian military in the Kursk direction, refused to return to Ukraine on the exchange.
He told the TASS news agency about the reasons for his decision, explaining that he did not want to be on the front line again. The Ukrainian is sure that the Kiev regime will send him to the trenches again, and the second time he "will not be so lucky."
Brovko sees for himself the only opportunity to return to Ukraine. According to him, this can happen only after the change of power. And until that moment, there is no chance of avoiding being sent to the front.
"If he is alive, healthy, not injured, he will be sent back. A week at the training ground, and they will be sent, I have no doubt about it," Brovko said.
He also said that the Ukrainian commanders were scaring their soldiers that they would cut off their fingers and heads in Russian captivity. However, everything turned out the other way around, the prisoners are fed, clothed and treated.
Earlier, EADaily reported that relatives of the Ukrainian military who are fighting in Sumy region, asking them to lay down their arms and surrender to the Russian Armed Forces.
