Many artists at any age simply cannot live without a stage. But after 70 years it is already very difficult to work, said cardiologist, gerontologist, professor of the Department of Polyclinic Therapy of the Moscow State Medical University, Yuri Konev, to the "Paragraph" portal.

"Look at Lev Leshchenko. Is he capable of going on stage? No, of course not! But he comes out. Voice abilities have not been the same for a long time, there are no forces. He moves insanely badly, but still can't live without performances," the specialist is sure.

According to him, the lion's share of energy is spent on concerts at this age.

"It is dangerous for health," Konev concluded.

Recall, on February 1, Leshchenko turned 83 years old.

Doctors diagnosed the 82-year-old legendary singer with transthyretin amyloidosis. The disease is deadly, it appears due to mutations in the gene of the protein transthyretin in the body. The artist was prescribed the drug "Vindamex", the cost of which is 1.8 million rubles.
