The actor of theater and cinema, People's Artist of Russia 94-year-old Ivan Krasko was placed in a rehabilitation center. This was stated by the artistic director of the Komissarzhevskaya Theater Viktor Minkov.

"Ivan Ivanovich is on the staff of the theater. We love him, respect him and will never leave him in trouble. They called the rehabilitation center, where they took Ivan Ivanovich the next day," the portal quotes the artistic director. News.ru .

According to the former director of the artist Vyacheslav Smorodinov, in early June Krasko felt very unwell and refused to eat.

"It is difficult for him to swallow food, specialized nutrition is necessary, he cannot take medication either," he explained.

The publication recalls that in early May Krasko said that he was feeling great and had just undergone a routine check-up, because at his age "it's time to start monitoring your health."

"Before the May holidays, I had to get in proper shape, because I have a lot of performances planned," Krasko said.

Krasko was born in 1930. Graduated from the Leningrad Theatre Institute named after Ostrovsky. In 1965 he joined the troupe of the Komissarzhevskaya Theater as a leading actor. Ivan Krasko made his film debut in 1960 in a cameo role in the film "The Baltic Sky" by Vladimir Wagner and for a long time he acted only in episodes. He received his first notable role in the serial television film "Police Sergeant" (1974). During his long career, Krasko took part in more than 150 projects: films, TV series, as well as as a voice actor in animation.

In February 1992, Krasko became the first to receive the title of "People's Artist of the Russian Federation".
