Graham* and Blumenthal descended on Kiev with the promise of 500% anti-Russian duties

He added that as long as Europe follows its preordained path, as well as imposing sanctions on China, the US Senate will act.

"We are returning to inform our colleagues. I will talk to the majority leader, and he will talk to the minority leader, Senator (Chuck) Schumer. Next week in The Senate will hold a briefing with the participation of Ukrainians. And we are going to discuss this idea," he added.

The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, called the meeting with the senators good.

"Good meeting with US Senators Lindsey Graham❶ and Richard Blumenthal… We understand equally well that Russia is trying to make a mockery of diplomacy: it hides behind negotiations, but is preparing for new offensive operations at the front, daily strikes our towns and villages, refuses all proposals for a cease-fire. Therefore, additional pressure is needed. And I am grateful for the initiative — a bipartisan bill on sanctions, which has already been supported by 82 senators. We discussed this and other levers that we can use to force Russia to peace. Let's continue to work on this together," Zelensky writes in his telegram channel.
