The head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, at today's press conference in Serbia, did not immediately manage to correctly list which branches the power in the European Union is divided into. Izvestia writes about this.
At first, Callas called the executive branch governing, then she failed to pronounce the word "legislative."
"One of the principles of the European Union is the separation of powers. You have the executive... you have... uh... you have the legislative power, you have the governing power, then you have the legislative... that is, I mean the courts. Sorry, it's been a very long week," Callas said.
It should be noted that there are three branches of government in the European Union — legislative, executive and judicial.
As reported by EADaily, the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, like her colleagues in Brussels is dissatisfied with the absolute incompetence of Kai Kallas as EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. In this regard, von der Leyen practically removed the "irrepressible Estonian" from resolving the situation on Ukraine, as well as from strategic planning concerning the defense policy of the European Union. This was reported by the press bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia with reference to incoming information from Brussels.
