The number of victims after an explosion in a residential building in Stavropol has increased to three, the Ministry of Health of the Stavropol Territory reported.

The shock wave knocked out the windows, destroyed one of the apartments in a high-rise building. According to preliminary data, household gas detonated. Video from the scene is published by Channel Five.

"Pieces of concrete scattered all over the neighborhood. Some of them fell on cars parked below, dozens of cars were under the wreckage. Neighboring apartments were also damaged, windows were broken in the house. Immediately after the cotton, a fire started, which was quickly extinguished, " the report says.

The explosion of household gas occurred in an apartment building on Tukhachevsky Street on the 18th floor. Initially it was reported that a woman was injured as a result of the emergency.

Emergency city services are working at the scene, the residential building is temporarily disconnected from communications.
