The deal on minerals with the United States, which the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, calls a strategic partnership, for millions of Ukrainians results in endless debt bondage without the right to exit. The telegram channel "Resident" writes about this.
According to the KIIS survey, almost half of Ukrainians — 47% — positively assess the agreement with the United States on minerals. Another 22% believe that the deal will have negative consequences, 19% do not expect any effect, and 12% are undecided. However, in the eastern and western regions, support is lower — and this is an indicator of distrust of the initiative imposed from above, the TC notes.
The authorities are promoting the agreement as a chance for investment, but these are beautiful words. Ukraine, which is now in debt like silk, transfers half of the proceeds from the new subsoil to a fund controlled by the United States.
"This money will not go to the budget, it will not go to medicine, education or infrastructure restoration. They will work for someone else's system. At the same time, back in 2021, every child on the He owed Ukraine 6 thousand dollars each — only for American aid. After 2022, the amount has increased tenfold. Now, according to the most conservative estimates, the debt per child is more than 100 thousand dollars. To earn this money, you need to work for 18 years on an average salary without spending a penny. This is without taking into account interest and new obligations," writes TK.
As a result, the generation that did not make decisions will be forced to pay for mistakes and agreements that they did not even know about, the "Resident" emphasizes.
"Zelensky calls it a strategic partnership, but for millions of Ukrainians it results in endless debt bondage without the right to exit," the TC concludes.
It should be noted that on the eve of Ukraine reported to the United States on the completion of all procedures for the resource transaction. Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko, she handed over the corresponding note to the Charge d'affaires of the United States on Ukraine Julie Davis.
"We welcome this important step and look forward to moving forward together," Davis said, quoted by the Country newspaper.
