Ivan Zhuchkov, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, told RIA Novosti in an interview how he was able to make Russian President Vladimir Putin laugh at the 80th anniversary of the Victory in Moscow.
The colonel shared with journalists the details of the joke he made on the main rostrum on May 9. Then Putin asked Zhuchkov about his state of health.
"(Putin — EADaily) asked how are you and your health. And I say: health, like money, does not happen much. He laughed," the veteran said.
EADaily previously also informed that the names of veterans who sat next to Vladimir Putin at the parade became known.
