The deal between Washington and Kiev on minerals excludes the participation of countries and individuals associated with the Russian military-industrial complex, the White House press service said.
"No state, company or person that financed or supplied the Russian military machine will be able to benefit from the reconstruction of Ukraine, including participation in projects financed by the fund," the statement said.
The White House stressed that the deal should be a signal to Russia "about the interest of the United States in the long-term future of Ukraine."
April 30, USA and Ukraine has signed an agreement on Washington's access to revenues from the sale of Ukrainian natural resources, such as aluminum, arsenic, barite, beryllium, bismuth and others. The deal also provides for the creation of a US-Ukrainian reconstruction investment fund.
The deal with the United States on minerals will be sent for ratification to the Verkhovna Rada, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said.
"We are interested in ensuring that there are no delays with the agreement," Zelensky said.
According to Zelensky, the deal means "a truly equal partnership," no debts to the United States are envisaged in the agreement.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that Kiev owes $ 350 billion for the aid already delivered and the deal will help to return this money.
