To Moscow on The parade on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War may be attended by the head of the US Department of State Marco Rubio. This is reported by the Zvezda TV channel of the Russian Defense Ministry, citing a source in diplomatic circles.
"The United States can be represented at a high level. It is assumed that US Secretary of State Marco Rubio may become this representative," the source said.
Previously in The Kremlin reported that US President Donald Trump would definitely not come to Moscow to celebrate Victory Day.
Recall, according to official information, about two dozen leaders of states and heads of government will attend the celebrations in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. Among them are the leaders of China, India, Brazil and the CIS countries. Military personnel from 19 countries have also been invited to participate in the Victory Day parade.
