This was stated by Senator Alexei Pushkov.
So the senator commented on an article in the Swiss newspaper Noeye Zurcher Zeitung, which says that the financial situation of a number of EU countries, starting with France, is very bad, and its leaders spend a lot of money on Ukraine and intend to spend even more on the militarization of Europe.
Pushkov agreed with this, but made a couple of clarifications.
