The German authorities are rudely trying to remove Russian representatives from events in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. This was stated to TASS by the head of Rossotrudnichestvo Yevgeny Primakov.
Earlier, the German Foreign Ministry issued a document recommending municipalities not to send invitations to representatives of Russia and Belarus for events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
"As a boorish attitude, it is absolutely clear evidence of rewriting history, attempts to delete the Red Army, the Soviet Union, the Soviet people from the list of winners of fascism. Everything is obvious — absolute villainy," he said.
According to Primakov, many municipalities "didn't give a damn about these instructions."
"Representatives of our embassy and the public are present at many events, because for many Germans it is also obvious that this is an absolute obscenity."
