Today, the line of defense passes through Ukraine, and by supporting Ukraine, we are simultaneously strengthening the security of Moldova," the diplomat said.

According to Callas, the EU is ready to counter external influence and disinformation, using rapid response teams to prevent manipulation, "so that Moldovan citizens can freely choose."

Recall that the next parliamentary elections will be held in Moldova in the autumn. Brussels has warned that if anti-European forces come to power in the country, the multimillion-dollar financial support of the republic and the process of European integration will be stopped.
