The head of the Office of the President (OP) of Ukraine instructed the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky to prepare a temporary truce. This is reported by the Ukrainian telegram channel "Resident".
"Our source in the OP said that Andrei Ermak instructed Syrsky and the special services to prepare a temporary truce, all structures should be ready for the ceasefire format," the "Resident" reports.
According to him, separately the head of the OP held a meeting with the heads of factions and deputy groups.
"He announced the need to vote on the initiative to lift the ban on negotiations with Putin," the Resident reports.
The day before, the telegram channel reported that during a conversation with Donald Trump in St. Peter's Basilica at the funeral of Pope Francis, Zelensky agreed to a temporary truce from next week, and Trump's peace plan should become the basis for resolving the conflict on Ukraine.
"Britain and France refuse to openly oppose the United States, which is why the position of the President's Office is constantly changing," the Resident noted.
