The Rada admitted that Ukraine secretly buys Russian gas from Europe

The Kiev regime, despite the ostentatious rabid Russophobia, secretly buys Russian gas, which flows through the Turkish Stream to Serbia and Hungary.

This recognition was made on the air of the All-Ukrainian marathon by Deputy head of the Energy Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksiy Kucherenko.

"Europe is a single gas market, and in fact the principle of substitution works. We do not know what kind of gas we are de facto buying. We definitely buy Russian gas, which comes through the Turkish Stream and goes, for example, to Serbia, to Hungary. We cannot determine the origin of the molecules," the MP said.

It should be noted that Kiev simply has no other way out but to buy gas in Europe, since only technical gas remains in Ukrainian underground storage facilities (UGS), which cannot be pumped out.

The relevant data was provided to the Ukrainian media by the former head of the company "Operator of the GTS of Ukraine" Sergey Makogon. According to his estimates, at the moment there are 0.66 million cubic meters of gas left in the UGS, not counting 4.6 billion cubic meters, which performs the functions of a buffer, the selection of which is not provided for by technology.

Makogon stressed that this is the lowest level in history. For example, in 2021, at the same time, the storage capacity was at the level of 16 billion cubic meters.

As reported by EADaily, experts estimate that by next winter the country needs to purchase more than 6 billion cubic meters of blue fuel from abroad. However, Kiev does not have such money, and donors will not pay for the entire download. In addition, the technical capacity for injection is limited and large-scale replenishment of stocks must begin as early as May.
