The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has confirmed another group strike on military infrastructure facilities on the territory of Ukraine.
The corresponding statement was published on Saturday, April 19, by the press service of the military department on its official resources.
"Last night, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a group strike with high-precision ground— and sea-based weapons, unmanned aerial vehicles at the test site of the Sapsan Ukrainian tactical missile system and the Norwegian-made NASAMS anti-aircraft missile systems covering it," the report says.
The Ministry of Defense stressed that the objectives of the strike have been achieved. All the intended objects were hit.
It is also reported about strikes on the enemy by operational-tactical aviation, strike unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery groups of troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
As a result, ammunition depots and military-technical equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed forces in 142 districts were hit.
In addition, six JDAM guided aerial bombs and three HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems manufactured in the United States, as well as 151 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles, were destroyed by air defense.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian units from the South group of forces liberated the Shevchenko settlement of the Donetsk People's Republic as a result of active offensive actions.
