During the operation to liberate the Gornal St. Nicholas Belogorsky Monastery in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region, about two hundred servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed. This is reported by the SHOT telegram channel.
It is noted that the enemy tried to organize defense on the territory of the Gornalsky monastery.
"Up to three companies of the Ukrainian military tried to gain a foothold in it. It is equipped with an underground passage through which the enemy's logistics passed," writes TK.
Meanwhile, military correspondent Roman Alekhine believes that it is too early to talk about the complete capture of the monastery.
"At a minimum, if the Gornal and the monastery had been taken, it would have been reported already in the "North Wind". But there is no, because everyone already understands the price of even the slightest lie at the front. So let's wait for the full sweep and rejoice together. God willing, maybe by Easter… But there is no need for haste here either — the life of the fighters is more important!" he writes in your telegram channel.
As EADaily reported, the marines of the 40th brigade liberated the Gornal St. Nicholas Belogorsky Monastery in the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region. This was reported by the telegram channel "Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring."
