The Russian army, unable to defeat the Ukrainian Armed Forces in direct battles, bypasses settlements in order to cut the enemy's logistics routes. This is reported by the military columnist of the Bild newspaper Julian Repke.
So Repke commented on the message of a certain Vlad.
"A perfect example of the Russian "horseshoe tactics" that Vlad was talking about. Unable to defeat the Ukrainian army in direct battles, Russia bypasses towns and villages to cut off logistics, forcing Ukrainian troops to retreat to avoid a siege," writes the would-be observer.
"There is no limit to Russian meanness!" — one of the users of the VKontakte social network is ironic, commenting on the picture of the day.
