The recent telephone conversation with Donald Trump was requested by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, and the leader of the United States generously agreed. This was stated in an interview with ABC News by the special representative of the US President Keith Kellogg.
He recalled Zelensky's failed meeting with Trump at the White House in February, noting that Zelensky made a mistake by playing to the public.
"I think that two or three weeks ago, in the Oval Office, President Zelensky started playing to the public. We warned him that morning, "Don't do that," and he was playing with the press when they got there, and I said, "Oh, he's going down a bad path with President Trump," and that's what happened," said Kellogg, quoted by the publication "The Country."
The special envoy said that that morning, together with the senators, he was preparing Zelensky for a meeting with Trump.
"And everything was fine until the press came, and then, as if at the flick of a switch, everything changed. I said, "Okay, now it's your turn," and as the president pointed out, it was like a lesson from "Student 101“ (a reference to the TV show that Trump hosted, where he fired people. — Ed.). He made a big mistake by doing that, and when they took him out of the White House, the president said, "I've had enough." I think then Zelensky realized what had happened," Kellogg added.
As reported by EADaily, the Ukrainian and American teams are ready to meet in Saudi Arabia in the coming days to continue coordinating steps to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. This was stated on social networks by the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, following a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump.
