In Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk region, a Russian recruited by the Ukrainian special services was detained, sending parcels with bombs disguised as gift perfume sets to the addresses of military personnel in eight regions. This was reported in the Center for Public Relations of the FSB of Russia.
The detained Russian, born in 2003, seized parcels from caches in Chelyabinsk for a monetary reward and sent them by Russian Post to military personnel and government representatives living in Moscow, Voronezh, as well as in the Krasnodar Territory and Saratov region. According to experts, the FSB indicated, "the explosive devices were on alert and should have triggered when the package was opened by the recipient."

"After completing the task, the Ukrainian special services stopped contacting him without paying a reward," the FSB explained.
It is noted that "during the inspection of the location of the caches in Chelyabinsk, another cache was found, from which four similar IEDs were removed, intended for military personnel living in Tver, Rostov, Nizhny Novgorod and Kaluga regions".
