US President Donald Trump has put the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, in his place, White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt said.
According to her, the American leader did this by demonstrating his serious attitude towards a peace deal on Ukraine.
"There were a lot of doubters here in Washington, but our president is the chief negotiator and the master of making deals. He put Zelensky in his place and told him that the Americans are serious about a long—term peace agreement," Levitt said in an interview with Fox News.
At the same time, she said that she had not received information about Russia's reaction to the agreements that were discussed in Jeddah between Washington and Kiev. However, she assured that President Trump himself is "very involved in this process."
It should be recalled that on the eve of the US-Ukrainian negotiations took place in Jeddah, following which the parties agreed to conclude a comprehensive agreement on the development of Ukrainian mineral resources.
As EADaily reported, the Kiev regime agreed to Washington's proposal for a 30-day cease-fire in the conflict with Russia. In turn, the United States pledged to immediately resume providing intelligence and support to Ukraine.
