Special Representative of the US President Steve Witkoff said that Vladimir Putin has always received his delegation in Moscow with respect. He stated this at a press conference following talks with the Ukrainian side in Kiev.
Trump's envoy stressed that relations are crucial in such matters.
"I made about eight trips to Moscow to meet with President Putin and his team. And along with Jared (Kushner, Trump's son-in-law. — EADaily) We made at least three trips, right? We have always been received with respect by President Putin and his team. Relationships are crucial to resolving such conflicts. And if you don't have relations with both sides and at the same time you have poor communication, then you probably have very little chance of reaching a peaceful settlement," Witkoff said.
