Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Germany wants war again. He said this in an interview with Vesti journalist Pavel Zarubin.

So he commented on the unsubstantiated accusations of Berlin in the incident with the UAV at Leipzig airport and the measures that followed it.

The Minister noted that this had already happened on the eve of the Great Patriotic War.

"This, in general, is, by and large, the beginning of such a real war. Kicked the Consulate General out of Bonn, the Russian House in Berlin is being closed. I remember that before the outbreak of World War II, the Great Patriotic War, or rather, the Germans also closed their diplomatic missions. They want war again. (German Chancellor Friedrich) Merc is going, in fact, to declare war on us. And the lessons of history have not been learned at all. It turned out that these metastases of Nazism are beginning to break through. This is a dangerous phenomenon. It seems to me that the Russian leadership will draw the appropriate conclusions," Lavrov said.

As EADaily reported, Berlin should not provide Moscow with irrefutable evidence on Leipzig, since Russia is not cooperating with the investigation. This was stated by Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung (FAS) foreign policy representative of the CDU/CSU faction in the Bundestag Jurgen Hardt, DW reported..
