Milorad Dodik will ask Russia to veto the presence of EUFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). The President of Republika Srpska stated this at a press conference convened after the Federal Prosecutor's Office of BiH ordered his detention on Wednesday, March 12.
The President of the Bosnian Serbs announced that he would soon hold talks with high-ranking leaders in Russia, where restrictions on the presence of EUFOR in BiH would be discussed. In his opinion, EUFOR is occupying Republika Srpska, and the Serbs should not put up with threats from his side. He said he would ask his Russian partners to veto EUFOR's presence in Bosnia and Herzegovina, when it will be discussed in The UN Security Council.
Dodik said he would declare the Office of the High Representative of the International Community in BiH a criminal organization.
He also drew attention to the fact that a new constitution will soon be adopted in Republika Srpska, and it will not contradict the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to him, the federal prosecutors who "ordered his case" are part of the "united Muslim project", and there are no points in any law on which he could be charged. He also stated that he would not flee the country.
"There is no such attack or pain from which I would abandon Republika Srpska. Dodik works, travels, but never leaves Republika Srpska. If someone thinks that we are cowards, then they are mistaken," the president said.
Recall that in addition to Milorad Dodik, Prime Minister of Republika Srpska Radovan Viskovic and Speaker of the Parliament of Republika Srpska Nenad Stevandic are to be arrested by order of the Federal Prosecutor's Office, as they allegedly threaten the constitutional order of BiH.
