Colonel Yevgeny Golovaty, deputy head of the "P" department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, whose sphere included the fight against crime at large industrial enterprises, was found dead in Moscow.
According to Kommersant, the body of Colonel Golovaty was found in the building of the Main Directorate for Combating Economic Crime and Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Ryazansky Lane in Moscow. It is assumed that the officer committed suicide in his office, using a service pistol for this.
The colonel was the deputy head of the "P" department, which fights crime at large industrial enterprises.
The investigative bodies of the TFR are conducting a pre—investigation check, based on the results of which a procedural decision will be made - the initiation of a criminal case, for example, on driving to suicide or refusal to do so.
