The Ukrainian Armed Forces have built two new lines of defense behind Slavyansk and Kramatorsk. This was stated by Russian military expert Valery Shiryaev, PolitNavigator reports.

"For Slavyansk and Kramatorsk erected two new lines of defense. APU hastily erect two more lines of defense immediately behind Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, so that after the liberation of these cities the Russian army would not be released into operational space," the analyst said.

According to him, the administrative border does not immediately follow the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration. There are 10-15 kilometers, sometimes a little more.

"So, there are two more new lines of defense further to the border. That is, Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, as a giant defensive line, will be occupied. And then two more lines of defense must be overcome," Shiryaev further said.

He added that this is not at all such a reliable barrier as a giant city. And everything can be much faster there.

"But, nevertheless, this suggests that Zelensky is preparing in advance to fight to the last. He clings to the territory with his teeth. These are conspiracy theories that Ukrainians can gradually retreat, pretend that they are resisting, but so that Zelensky does not appear before his voters as a person who is a traitor. But he just retreated, and the moment has come when Putin can say: well, that's it, we agree to stop too. But no. Zelensky is going to fight to the last. He built two more lines of defense behind these cities," the expert concluded.
