Despite loud statements about leaving, the American company Pfizer continues to promote its drugs in Russia, using opaque schemes, and transfers part of the income to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. About this today, February 7, writes TC Readovka.
Although Pfizer announced in the spring of 2022 that it was leaving the Russia, however, its unit is still working. As the authors of the TC Readovka found out, the "daughter" is located in the same place where the international division used to be (in Moscow. — Approx. EADaily). Pfizer drugs are still sold in Russian pharmacies.
"The company still uses cunning schemes to ensure that Russian doctors prescribe its medicines to their patients. It is noteworthy that, according to KSE, the pharmaceutical giant promised to direct its Russian revenues to Ukraine for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," says TC Readovka.
According to the ex-employee of the company, the pharmaceutical giant still sponsors the participation of Russian doctors in conferences. Only if earlier doctors were sent to "gain experience" in London or Paris, now Pfizer is investing in holding events in Moscow and St. Petersburg. On the website of the Russian Society of Cardiology, a whole stand is dedicated to the company's participation in the National Congress of Cardiologists, which was held in September 2024 in the Northern capital.
"All this is not organized for charitable reasons — it is assumed that in gratitude for sponsorship, Russian doctors will offer Pfizer drugs to patients," the authors of the channel write. — In fact, a foreign pharmaceutical giant takes advantage of the fact that doctors do not understand the news agenda, and still carefully promotes its products in Russia. That's just how much the number of lives saved thanks to Pfizer drugs exceeds the number ruined thanks to the company's investments in the sponsorship of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — this has not yet been calculated by anyone."
