Deputy of the Kazakh Parliament Azat Peruashev called his statement about the introduction of a large number of fines in the republic unsuccessful. This is reported by nur.kz .
According to the agency, the recognition followed the words of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev that some individuals turn the country into an object of ridicule, said on Tuesday at an expanded meeting of the government.
"I agree with the head of state. <> Well, I used an unfortunate term, it happens," said the deputy.
Earlier in parliament, Peruashev said that officials were turning Kazakhstan into a "Penalty Country." So he commented on the introduction of a large number of new types of fines in the republic.
In 2019, Peruashev wept picturesquely in front of television cameras after the former president of Kazakhstan, Nazarbayev, announced his resignation from office. Later, when the video with the crying deputy spread on social networks and gathered a lot of mocking comments, Peruashev said that he "let out a stingy man's tear" not because of Nazarbayev at all, but for a completely different reason.
