Actress Selena Gomez burst into tears, telling in her Instagram* about the deportation of Mexicans from the United States, but soon deleted the video. It is reported by the British Daily Mail.
The 32-year-old actress sobbed after US President Donald Trump's decision to mass deport all illegal immigrants for fear that families would be separated.
"I feel sorry for all my people. There are also children there. I don't understand. I'm so sorry, I wish I could do something, but I can't. I do not know what to do. I'll try everything, I promise," Gomez said.
Quickly deleting her post, the actress wrote: "Obviously, it's not normal to show empathy for people."
On Sunday, "a nationwide immigration crackdown led to the arrest of 956 people, which is the largest number since Trump returned to power," according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the newspaper writes.
