The manufacturer of sportswear "Adidas" may reduce up to 10% of the employees of the company's head office in the city of Herzogenaurach, according to the tabloid "Bild".
The official representative of the company confirmed the information about the "planned adaptation of the business," but did not disclose figures on the number of upcoming cuts. However, according to insiders, we are talking about the dismissal of 500 people from among the 5,800 employees of the headquarters in Bavaria.
"Over the past two years, the brand, products and business have received a powerful impetus for development. However, we also realized that our current company structure is too complex in an ever—changing world," the spokeswoman summed up.
