The National Police of El Salvador is investigating the murder of Russian Elena N., who was hospitalized on Thursday with gunshot wounds and died in hospital from her injuries, one person was detained in this case.
"The case of Elena N. is qualified as murder. The forensic examination showed that there were no traces of gunpowder on the victim's hands, which excludes the possibility that she was holding the weapon used in the attack," the Salvadoran police said in a blog post on Wednesday.
