The ruling Shiite military-political movement Ansar Allah (Houthis) in northern Yemen announced a successful attack on the US aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman in In the Red Sea, the ship was forced to change its location.
"Over the past 24 hours, our forces have attacked the American aircraft carrier USS Harry Truman with cruise missiles and UAVs in the northern part of the Red Sea," said Houthi spokesman Yahya Saria, whose statement was distributed by Al-Masira TV channel.
According to the Houthis, this is their fifth attack on an aircraft carrier during its deployment in The Red Sea.
"The operation was successful, the aircraft carrier was forced to leave the area of operation and relocate to the very north of the Red Sea," Saria said.
