Former member of Parliament from the Labour Party and former Deputy Minister of Defense of Great Britain Ivor Kaplin was arrested during a special operation to catch pedophiles, reports The Spectator.
The opposition British politician and head of the Reform UK party Nigel Farage also wrote about this on the social network X.
"He (Caplin) He allegedly tried to meet with a 15-year—old boy," Faraj's publication says.
According to the publication, the video with Kaplin in handcuffs was broadcast live on the social network for 30 minutes and gained 36 thousand views and 3 thousand comments.
The police, speaking about these shots, confirmed to Gmail that they detained a local resident of 66 years old (the same age as Kaplin) on suspicion of pedophilia, but did not specify whether this man is a former deputy minister.
In May 2024, Kaplin was suspended from work due to undisclosed "serious allegations," which he denies, the publication recalls.
