The owners of the vessel "Oslo Carrier 3" denied the information from LLC "Oboronlogistics" about the refusal to provide assistance to Russian sailors from the sunken ship "Ursa Major".

The corresponding statement was made by the press service of the company Bulkship Management AS from Oslo, which owns the vessel under the Norwegian flag "Oslo Carrier 3".

They explained that the crew of the Norwegian vessel did not board the sailors from the ship in distress in In the Mediterranean Sea of the Russian ship Ursa Major, because Spanish rescuers were already heading to them.

"The Spanish Maritime Rescue Coordination Center ordered our captain not to pick up the crew of the vessel in distress, because their rescue vessel was already on its way," the Norwegian company said.

They stressed that the sailors in the lifeboat were moored to the side of Oslo Carrier 3 until the arrival of another rescue vessel. At the same time, the weather was good, and there was no danger to the people in the boat, noted in Bulkship Management AS.

This information was confirmed to Western publications by the crew members of the Norwegian vessel.
