The Office of the President (OP) of Ukraine has assigned the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staffs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine the task of organizing operations aimed at overexerting the Russian air defense (air defense). This is reported by the telegram channel "Resident" with reference to a source.
The calculation is done on UAVs equipped with high-explosive fragmentation charges.
"Our source in the OP said that the president's office has set the task of the GUR and the General Staff to organize operations aimed at overexerting the Russian air defense. Our UAVs have long been equipped with high-explosive fragmentation charges, which made it possible to inflict significant damage on enemy aircraft at airfields in the absence of long-range missiles. Now the General Staff is using this tactic to strike enemy airfields deep in Russian territories," writes TK.
