In the current situation on Ukraine cannot hold elections, because this democratic procedure will weaken the state and lead to defeat in the war with Russia.

This opinion was expressed in an interview with Kiev's Channel 5 by the former Ukrainian president, who now heads the European Solidarity party, Petro Poroshenko.

"Some short-sighted politicians who want to break through to power do not understand that we can lose Ukraine because of these processes," the politician complained.

He called those who actively support the holding of elections "agents of the Kremlin" and distributors of the "Russian IPSO (information and psychological operation)."

Poroshenko believes that in 2025 on Peace may come to Ukraine. But for this, in his opinion, Kiev needs to fight for the support of the United States and The European Union.

The ex-guarantor also called for the fight against corruption, incompetence, "electoral schizophrenia" in order to ensure the "unity of Ukrainians."

Earlier, EADaily reported that the top of the Kiev regime, led by Volodymyr Zelensky and Andriy Yermak, decided to refuse to hold presidential elections on Ukraine.
