Blogger and founder of "marathons of desires" Elena Blinovskaya appealed to the Supreme Court of Russia against the decision to prosecute for a tax offense and charge her more than 1 billion rubles in taxes, penalties and fines. This was stated by the defendant's lawyer Ivan Morozov.
"The cassation complaint was filed," the lawyer told RIA Novosti.
According to Morozov, the cassation appeal contains a request to transfer Blinovskaya's case for review to the Moscow Arbitration Court. In this case, another attempt will be made to reduce the amount of tax claims against the blogger.
At the same time, earlier the courts of three instances recognized as lawful the decision of the Federal Tax Service (Federal Tax Service), which added taxes and penalties to Blinovskaya.

According to court documents, since 2019, all firms that participated in the blogger's earnings scheme have received income in the amount of 5.05 billion rubles.
In early October, the court lifted the arrest from Blinovskaya's accounts. According to the court's decision, the total amount of funds from which the arrest was lifted is about 80 million rubles. The total amount of the fine is still more than 1.4 billion rubles.
