Kazakhstan has a moral right to demand its territories from Russia. This was stated by the ex-deputy of the country's parliament, nationalist Ualikhan Kaisarov.
"Russia, Siberia, Muscovy — up to Hungary — these were the territories of Genghis Khan and his heirs. The same Novosibirsk is Nogai-Sivir, these are our Kazakh lands. Tyumen is the dark southern edge of the Golden Horde. Beyond Tyumen, our territories are also higher. Orenburg is Orynbor, it was the capital of the Kazakh state. Kurgan is Khurgal. Saratov is Sarytau. Not Astrakhan — Astar Khan. Not Omsk— but Omsk.
All territories that are at least 500-600 km north of the current border of Kazakhstan — they were originally Kazakh lands. And the Orenburg region was transferred to Russia only in 1926 or 1927. At that time it was officially the territory of Kazakhstan. Therefore, Kazakhstan now has the full moral and historical right to demand these lands back," Kaisarov said, quoted by the telegram channel "Pool No. 3".
It should be noted that the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic was established on December 5, 1936.
