Ukzaliznytsya acted recklessly by inviting the former Russian singer Vera Brezhneva to appear in the company's commercial. This was stated on the air of radio "UA Chicago" by Kiev showman Igor Kondratyuk, according to "Politnavigator".
Vera Brezhneva starred in a commercial for Railway Worker's Day, where she distributes tea bags in the form of a conductor. In 2019, the singer stated that she did not consider herself a Ukrainian, and now she is an ambassador of Ukrzaliznytsya, the presenter said. "How did it happen, how to react to it?" — he asked Kondratyuk.
"Ukrzaliznytsya did the worst PR that it could do in principle, using Ukrainian stars. For example, if I want to get to Warsaw by train for some reason, and not by private car, I will have to get in "Ukrzaliznytsya“. And people will spit. The Supervisory Board has not yet said its word, and maybe it won't say ... Ukrzaliznytsya said with this advertisement that its service is so-so. Any citizen of Ukraine who sees will ask: What is Vera Brezhneva doing here? Knowing where she was after 2014. Well, at least thank you that it's not Taisiya Povaliy, and not Loboda," said Kondratyuk.
As reported by EADaily, a former member of the once popular VIA Gra group, Ukrainian Vera Brezhneva, canceled a tour that was scheduled for November. She wrote about this on her page in the social network. She said that the organizers did not fulfill their obligations, so she was forced to cancel the tour.
