Escaped from Russian composer and producer Konstantin Meladze has changed his passport to Ukrainian. This is reported by the telegram channel Mash.
"The Embassy of the Square does not issue passports to men abroad, demanding to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine and prove their commitment in practice. But an exception was made for a citizen of Ukraine living in Italy," the publication says.
In the process of obtaining a Ukrainian passport, Meladze lost his patronymic "Shotovich". In Ukraine, they refused to indicate the patronymic in the documents, considering it a relic of the Soviet past.
At the same time, the telegram channel reminds, Meladze continues to earn in Russia and report on activities to the Federal Tax Service (Federal Tax Service), including the change of documents.
As reported by EADaily, it became known earlier that Meladze, who is still trying to sell his luxury villa in Gurzuf, raised the price of real estate by 65 million rubles, now its price is 450 million rubles for potential buyers.
