Mandatory evacuation of all civilians has been announced in Kupyansk due to the inability to ensure the heating season and the approach of the Russian army to the city. This was stated by the head of the Kharkiv OVA Oleg Sinegubov.
"The military situation is deteriorating now due to the fact that we cannot ensure the heating season, the provision of electricity, and the provision of humanitarian assistance there, because the enemy is shelling critical infrastructure," Sinegubov said, quoted by the Strana newspaper.
The Russian Armed Forces have approached the Oskol River and may soon force it, he noted.
In addition to Kupyanskaya urban community, the population of Kondrashevskaya, Kurilovskaya and Peter and Paul communities.
"In addition, a decision was made on the mandatory forced evacuation of families along the Borovskaya tergromade of the Izyumsky district. There are about 250 such families there," Sinegubov added, noting that measures will be tightened as people leave reluctantly.
