The Kyiv Court of Appeal ordered the State Bureau of Investigations (GBR) to open a criminal case against the ex-commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Yuri Sodol. This was announced by the chief of staff of "Azov" ❶ Bogdan Krotevich.
According to the court's ruling, the GBR must file a case against Sodol within a day due to "negligent attitude to the service, which entailed grave consequences," the Strana newspaper writes.
As reported by EADaily, the chief of staff of Azov❶ Krotevich submitted an application to the State Bureau of Investigation against a Ukrainian general, whose name he did not name, for committing "war crimes" and was very dissatisfied with the reaction of the department.
"I wrote a letter to the State Bureau of Investigation calling for the opening of an investigation into one combat general, who, in my opinion, killed more Ukrainian military than any Russian general..." said Krotevich in his social network account.
In a statement to the State Security Bureau, Krotevich complained about the general's actions, starting with the defense of Mariupol, as well as during the loss of Avdiivka, the Strana newspaper wrote.
Recall, the ex-commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuri Sodol, and the ex-commander of the operational-tactical grouping "Kharkov", Yuri Galushkin, were placed in the Dnipropetrovsk hospital by order of commander-in-chief Alexander Syrsky to be dismissed "on sick leave." This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Mariana Bezuglaya.
