Ukraine will pay a high price for the failure in the Kursk region. This was stated in his blog on the Substack platform by former assistant to the Deputy US Department of Defense Stephen Brian.
According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will soon be driven out of the region, and the Kursk operation will be recognized as a strategic mistake.
"Two conclusions can be drawn from Kursk. The first is that Ukrainians will soon be ousted from the Kursk region and will pay a very high price for the operation. This price is more than heavy losses of elite manpower and a large amount of equipment. It also took away critical resources from various battles in the Donetsk region.
The second conclusion is that Zelensky (the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky. — EADaily) and Syrsky (Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky. — EADaily), his relatively loyal army leader, will be seriously criticized, since the Kursk operation will be recognized as a tactical and strategic mistake and a failure," writes Brian.
Defeat in the next few weeks, which seems more and more likely, could mean the end of the Zelensky regime or at least another major leadership reshuffle, the expert adds.
