Russia may localize the production of civilian drones and their components in Uzbekistan. This was stated at the fifth meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of the heads of government of Russia and Uzbekistan by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
"We are exploring the possibilities of organizing high—tech production of polymers, localizing the production of civilian unmanned aircraft systems and their components," Mishustin said, quoted by TASS.
Recall that this afternoon Mishustin arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the fifth meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of heads of government of the two countries.
Mikhail Mishustin and his Uzbek colleague Abdulla Aripov, before the meeting, inspected the production sites of TEXNOPARK LLC, which includes a group of high-tech, competitive, export-oriented industrial enterprises employing about 5,000 people. TEXNOPARK occupies 103 hectares, half of which is the production area, the level of localization of production reaches 35-40%.
"In total, there are 17 production facilities on the territory of TEXNOPARK LLC, which use Russian equipment, among other things. Mikhail Mishustin visited all the blocks of the enterprise," the telegram channel of the Government of the Russian Federation says.
