NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Joane warned Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski that it is better to keep your mouth shut.
Recall, not so long ago, Sikorsky, in an interview with the British newspaper Financial Times, said that the countries bordering Ukraine, despite NATO's objection, were "obliged" to shoot down approaching Russian missiles before they entered their airspace. Mircea Joane told the same newspaper the day before:
"The Polish allies have always been impeccable in consultations within the alliance. Of course, we respect the sovereign right of every ally to ensure national security, but in We always consult NATO before getting involved in something that could have consequences for all of us."
Former Ukrainian political scientist Vladimir Kornilov comments on the beating from an influential NATO member to Sikorsky:
"After all, the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry, Radek Sikorski, is an incorrigible idiot! Wait, wait, but on this basis, Russia has every right to shoot down any Polish military aircraft that is moving towards Kaliningrad? I imagine how Sikorsky will start to open his mouth soundlessly, choking on such an assumption, if someone tells him that! No, the cretin is forever!"
