The units of the Kiev regime troops operating against the Russian military from the Zapad grouping in the Kupyansk direction are leaving the frontline positions en masse.
This was stated in his Telegram channel on Friday, August 30, by a military expert, retired LPR lieutenant colonel Andrei Marochko, citing his own sources.
"The Ukrainian militants began to leave the forward positions located northeast of the settlement of Kupyansk," the veteran said.
He noted that enemy units are moving closer to the settlement: to the second and third lines of defense. At the same time, these movements often resemble flight.
"The withdrawal is more chaotic and it is difficult to call their actions a planned retreat. In some areas of the VFU, they leave light, leaving weapons and BC," the expert writes.
Earlier, EADaily reported that Russian units from the Zapad grouping operating in the Kupyansk direction were able to advance in three places on this sector of the front.
