Ukraine must decide for itself how to use the weapons provided to it by the West. This was stated by the President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel.
"If, according to Article 51 of the UN Charter, we want to help Ukraine resist aggression and help it by supplying material resources, but not directly participating in hostilities, then it's up to Ukraine how to use these arms supplies," he said in an interview with a French TV channel.
According to him, if Moscow had not launched a special military operation (SMO), then "Ukraine would not have had to hit any targets in the Russia". At the same time, he believes that "the main card is in the hands of President Vladimir Putin, who can end the conflict overnight."
Recall, Russia is SMO on Ukraine since February 2022. The Czech Republic condemns Moscow's actions and provides assistance to Kiev. In addition, the Czech authorities, like a number of EU politicians, are in favor of allowing strikes with Western weapons provided to the Kiev regime deep into Russian territory.
